Founded in Canada in 2020 as ChargeStop, the company began with a mission to accelerate the transition to clean, accessible energy through ultrafast EV charging and battery storage. Following rapid growth and recognition, the business expanded to Australia in 2024, establishing local deployment capabilities.

In 2025, ChargeStop rebranded as ReVolt Energy Group to reflect its broader vision — building a decentralised Virtual Power Plant (VPP) network that integrates renewable generation, battery storage, and intelligent energy management.

Today, ReVolt Energy builds, owns and operates scalable, decentralised energy infrastructure, with battery energy storage at its core—enabling clean power to be generated, stored, and traded at the edge.

Executive Leadership

ReVolt is led by long-time collaborators with experience scaling complex, asset-backed and decentralised platforms across technology, energy and capital markets. The team brings institutional discipline and next-generation systems thinking to a model designed for resilient, compounding growth.

“ReVolt is building the infrastructure layer for a more resilient and decentralised clean energy future. Our focus is disciplined execution: securing quality sites, deploying battery storage at the edge of the grid, contracting revenue pathways, and scaling assets that support Australia’s energy transition while creating long-term value for shareholders, partners and communities.”
